How to Link Your Band to Us

This site is no longer really live and is kept up for my design portfolio. I'll still link your band, but the link back should go to my front page at http://www.celticfringe.net.

If you're a small label or independent band, maybe we can direct some eyeballs to each other. We're looking for bands whose music attracts a teenage audience. Your music need not be aimed solely a teenage audience, nor must it be in the teenage mainstream (you don't have to be aspiring to pop top 40), but it should be of some interest to our readers. You should either have audio files on your site, or link to a site that hosts them for you. We don't host files here. Please don't e-mail them to us! Your music should also not be objectionable for a young audience: no explicit sex, cop killing, misogyny, suicide, etc.

Send us a brief description of your music (the briefer the better, since shorter descriptions are more likely to be read by page visitors). Please no graphics: they're not as descriptive, and the page will take longer and longer to download as the list grows.

What we want in exchange is a link back from your site. We have banners of different designs and sizes, so pick something that works with your site. The banner page is http://teenlife.net/banners.html. Here is some coding you can copy and paste:

to load the graphic from your site, save the banner into your images directory and replace the text in brackets:

If you want, you can include the specifications for the banners height and width, which may make it load a bit faster, and you can add a border around it (like I've done with the homelogo at the top--cheap, but it works). If any of this is gobbledygook, just let me know which banner to use and I'll send you the complete code without the brackets, and I'll give you whatever other help you need to insert it in your page.
