noc26, a band from the small town of Oxford, Pa, formed in late 1998. The band began as a three piece consisting of Nick Curran, Brad Topping, and Justin Duke. What began as an entirely acoustic set, quickly evolved when the band auditioned drummer Dave Mahan. Three weeks after his induction, the band, including Megan Townsend, recorded a four song demo at Clay Creek Studios in Newark, Deleware. This demo and five additional songs will be compiled on CD and will be available soon at this website. Adam Kucharick of Harrisburg, Pa will be appearing on the new album which is to be released by the end of summer. This will be a full length album consisting of 10 songs and will feature the songs "Time Stood Still" and "Climb".

13Stories
13 Stories, out of Atlanta, GA, are the new sound in pop music. Without being just a rock, rap, funk, reggae, or dance band, 13 Stories manages to mix all of that and more...but you can file it all under pop. The sugar sweet melodies, the cranked up distorted guitar, the borderline ska sound in some of their songs...file it all under the pop music category. Cheri's vocals are alternately sassy and shy, while Van and Cat keep the guitars pumped up and rockin'. With Max and James laying it down on the drums and bass, 13 Stories music has a sexy, hip-bouncing swagger and a sound you can't quite put your finger on.

Soylent Green
Soylent Green is a musically creative but sometimes whimsical band in the tradition of the "Barenaked Ladies." You may also detect the retro influences of Pink Floyd, Peter Gabriel, King Crimson and U2 in their music. With such eclectic backgrounds, they can sometimes have an identity crisis evidenced by the pop-ish "Tell Me, Tell Me, Tell Me", the heavy blues jam of "Space Monkey Lovin' in Tube Socks", the psychedelic "Butterfly," and the Middle-Eastern Instrumental "Firaque". But whatever music they churn out, it is bound to be something slightly different than what is normally found in this universe.
